Parenting and Body image

How to Raise a Child with Positive Body Image in Today's World

Saturday, December 8th 9-10:30am
West Los Angeles

Now more than ever is a time to talk about mental health. Body image, disordered eating, and over-exercising has become all too familiar in our culture. Children learn by example. They observe and mimic what they see in others.

Body image goes far beyond physical appearance. It involves the relationship we have with our unique bodies and points at the way we listen and respond to the messages it sends us.

Come and learn about the latest research on body image, how to set an example as a parent, and how to empower your children to grow up loving and respecting their bodies.

This is a FREE event for parents, health care providers, and anyone else who is involved in a child's life.

Coffee, tea, and refreshments will be provided. Contact Kendra with any questions at (424) 268-2762
