"If you're doing something that doesn't make sense, look deeper: It makes sense." -G. Roth
Kendra is a clinical psychotherapist located in West Los Angeles, California. She received her Master of Art degree in clinical psychotherapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has an integrative and holistic style involving mindfulness techniques that focus on the relationship between the body, mind, and spirit. She strongly believes experiential and mindfulness techniques pinpoint sources of emotional pain and introduce a new level of peace and direction into the therapy session.
Drawing on her training in experiential and postmodern therapies, Kendra helps couples and individuals become aware of how previously learned thoughts and behaviors interfere with the ability to connect with loved ones. She has helped her clients reconnect with joy and purpose in their lives by helping them understand the underlying causes of their painful feelings.
In addition to seeing clients in private practice, she continues to receive training in mindfulness meditation through the MARC (Mindfulness Awareness Research Center) institute at UCLA. This training has heightened her understanding of mindfulness awareness and how it can lead to increased attunement, intimacy, and connection.
